How come that after the Twilight Saga (which is entertaining, sure, but not some kind of literary master piece ) all the publishers have gone freaking out of their minds and began massprinting absolute RUBBISH? At first I was ecstatic about this tsunami of books about vampires and such but now... Gah. Barely one original thought in any of them. "Wicked Lovely" by Melissa Marr is suspiciously similar to "Tithe- A modern fairytale" only more sex-fixated. That's where the problem lies with all these new books. I don't mind if there's a good love story intertwined with the plot, but when everything centers around it and hot vampire guys frolic around the heroine-who-doesn't-know-how-stunning-she-is... There is a ridiculous amount of smoldering eyes and sexy guys invading personal space on every bloody page. And "A Vampire's Diaries" which was the first vampire book I read (scared the crap out of a 9 year old, I tell you ) has now been reprinted with an apple on the cover. Hmmm...

However, if you like adventure books such as "The Hunger Games" I can really recommend "Graceling" by Kristin Cashore.

Anyone who has a book they can recommend? It's autumn break now for me so I have time to read without cutting down on sleeping.

Oh and I've just been to London again. I love that city more everytime we go there. Starbucks rocks and Foyles... My favourite place however is Camden Town with all the artists and markets.

Also (sorry for long journal ) I'm throwing a small Halloween party for my friends. I love planning but I hate organizing, if that makes any sense. I hope it will be fun.
